Farm Info

Las Veraneras Farm, owned by Rodrigo Sanchez and his wife Claudia, is located in the Peñas Blancas mountain range between Acevedo and Pitalito in Huila, Colombia, at elevations of 1,500–1,750 meters above sea level. Surrounded by more than 200 hectares of protected forest, the farm grows over 20 specialty coffee varieties, including Sudan Rume, Mocca, Caturra Purpura, Pacamara, Geisha, and Bourbon, benefiting from rich natural biodiversity and ideal high-altitude conditions for producing exceptional specialty coffee.

Cherries are harvested and measured at 23 to 25 Brix degrees. The coffee is then left to rest for 36 hours, and then it is floated to eliminate impurities. Finally, it passes to the drying stage for 25 to 28 days.
